She is very self concious about her new brace, but she tries to overcome her shyness and get used to her new looks - which she will has to endure for upcoming years - as fast as she can.
The big moment for Stacy is visiting shopping mall with her brace on, and although she gets stares from time to time, it doesn't discourage her to treat herself with some ice-cream.
