Risser’s body cast that Cheryl wore for last 3 months did not bring the expected results. New, more restrictive cast is prescribed to combat her spine curvature. Her body will be encased in Minerva plaster jacket extending into Double HipSpica with spreader bar. Cheryl is wrapped with wet plaster cast until her new body jacket is completed. When her cast is set, nurses takes her for a walk around hospital to reduce any muscle mass loss in Cheryl’s body. Good humor does not leave our patient and staff taking care of her.
