Plus Winterfell is only about 300 by 300 meters and most of that is packed with buildings. If you somehow crammed all 40k troops in you'd never get the 10k dothraki horses in and the dothraki would be as useless as the other 30k who wouldn't even have room to swing a sword or draw a bow. There's a lot of things to be critical about in these last couple of seasons (including many other things mentioned by the squad this episode), but this really ain't one of them. Kinda hard to defend the reckless head-on charge into 100k zombie hoard, other than the obvious cinematic value.

2023-09-24 04:11:35 +0000 UTCGod I hate this episode. There are so many things. Like Luke pointed out many tactics are just stupid. And we lost almost almost no characters here. This is the battle the whole show build to. Literally the porlogue started the conflict with the white walkers and this victory felt so cheap and undiserved. Like Trin pointed out the victory was too easy. We still don't have any motive for the nightking or the white walkers. Unlike some others, I have no problem with Arya doing it. But the way she did it wasn't well done for me. It's just a jumpscare with her coming in and doing a cheap trick. You could have done it with her using her faces or something but this dosen't feel right to me. There is more but these are the main things for me. Other people like different parts of this season less and I have big problems with those aswell but this is the worst one for me. I am still happy, that you took alot of joy ot of this. Just because I hate it so much, dosen't mean you have to obviously. I still had fun rewatching the episode with you although I might have screamed at my monitor from time to time!

They are called "Time Traveling Bran" and "Thousand world books club". He gives his opinion on how George RR Martin plans to finish his books. He uses books George wrote in the past and he points out how he constantly recycles ideas and characters. Some people were upset Jon wasn't the chosen one but in all of Georges stories chosen one characters and prophecies are always red herrings. He also wrote a Sci Fi story with a dwarf who told witty jokes 10 years before Tyrion. These 3 should watch Time Traveling Bran after watching the last 3 episodes.
