Just to clarify: You’ve heard Jon’s real name (Aegon) because he’s named after the conqueror who united the Seven Kingdoms and forged the Iron Throne. The Maester at the wall was Aemon Targaryen. All those Valyrian names are extremely close to one another, and Targaryens stay naming their sons Aegon. There were five King Aegon Targaryens before Jon 😂
