It is likely that we will, but not certain. If we do, we want to watch it with Whitney but her schedule is difficult to work with until the fall. We will probably have a more solid answer later this year!

Are you ladies gonna watch Better Call Saul?

Nicholas

That last look between Walt and Jesse says so much without words, the same as the many different emotions skyler has when she looks at walt with their daughter in the last scene.

The only one who could take down Heisenberg was himself

Anthony Hopkins wrote a letter to Bryan Cranston and the cast, saying theirs is the best acting he's ever seen: https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2013/10/anthony-hopkins-breaking-bad-fan-letter Cranston on seeing his own daughter in the place of Jane, as she died: (He cried for 15 minutes and had to be consoled by the crew) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cxa-btHkplc Here's a great recap of Cranston's range and vulnerability throughout the show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IceGArsT9g0 It's been great watching these with you! Finally, something Jamie didn't predict haha, with Walt's scheme to get Gretchen and Eliot to get the money to his family. They had a hell of a lot to wrap up, and they got it done in one episode. Maybe a little too cleanly for some people's taste, but that's Heisenberg - he's not just smarter than you, he's luckier, too! A satisfying end that definitely beats Game of Thrones, Lost, Dexter, and a bunch of other popular series that couldn't stick their landings and ruined the legacies of their respective shows (Sopranos arguably has a great ending, but it's pretty controversial still and not everyone appreciates it even with understanding it). Ozymandias is 10/10 on imdb after 166,000+ votes, and the show as a whole will definitely go down in history as one of the best. Cheers!

it's ironic that you wouldn't consider rewatching BrBa because of the dark nature of the show. Game of Thrones glorifies gratuitous violence for the sake of entertainment. Breaking Bad is the only show that portrayed the devasting reality of continually making the wrong decision. That's the message the show tried to convey. There isnt a more perfectly executed show, other than Better Call Saul

Jack's death mirrors Hank's - as Hank was shot by Jack as Walt offered Jack all his money to spare him, Jack is shot by Walt attempting to offer Walt his money back to spare him. They were also both shot in the head mid sentence.

And we come to a close! My favorite reaction moment for this episode was Bliss’s grinning the moment Lydia was putting her Stevia into her drink 😉 I’m happy you finished the series. I watched this entirely when it originally premiered & contrasting to other series; bias talking; I now look for good character development, great plot and acting. I feel this series hit all marks with a vengeance. It’s not for everyone but I feel it will forever hold the test of time. Your overall rating out of 10, two 8’s and a 9.7 that’s a winning series. Bliss mentioning she is now going to look up numerous clips regarding this series is awesome! She’ll definitely become a ‘Breaking Baddie’ because there is so much to find out about this show. Research Breaking Bad Emmy winners 😉 It was fun watching with you three.

Jesse hallucinating making wooden boxes is a reference to an earlier episode, in which he tells a story about making a box in shop class, that he later sells to buy weed, in a rehab-related group therapy session.

The apparel Walt wears when he arrives at the compound is identical to what he wore in the pilot episode, Breaking Bad: Pilot (2008). He begins and ends the series in the same clothes.

One thing to consider is if the world is better off now. The Cartel, Fring's empire, Aryan Brotherhood, Lydia, and yes, that version of Walt, needed to die. Welp, they're gone now. And let's not forget Jesse finally got his robot! You guys went full clairvoyant this episode. The only thing you missed was the box reference. This show made such an impact on me, here I am years later with my guilty pleasure. This is the only way to relive the show without getting arrested for staring at someone's face when Walt mows down drug dealers with his crap car. You guys were fun! Every time I've watched reactors to this show I always learn something new. Oh, please watch "Breaking Bad Remix".
