Thanks, Dolcy! Nah, I'm not behind the camera or affiliated with the crew :) I don't think Saddles was cancelled per se, but people can get weird about race even when the jokes are good natured. Oh well, what can you do but chuckle at the squeamish?

My personal fav is actually a wrongfully cancelled comedy Blazing Saddles which deals with race. Just to add to the list but there are many more. Oh Kung Fu Hustle Too.

I normally recommend things like the following: Thoughtful Sci-Fi: GATTACA Creative Sci-Fi: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Suspenseful Sci-Fi: Ex Machina, Moon Epic Crime: Heat (a real must-see) Scary: Alien, The Thing (1982 version) Thriller/Suspense: Silence of the Lambs, Sicario Action: Terminator, Terminator 2, Die Hard Action Comedy: True Lies, The Last Boyscout Comedy: Spaceballs, Tommy Boy, Happy Gilmore, Bridesmaids, Spy Drama: American Beauty, American History X, Full Metal Jacket (Won't Say): Fight Club, Momento, Donnie Darko Lots of options, but I have no idea what you've seen already or what kinds of things are a 'no go' for you :)
