World of Shweiky - Part 38

The next morning a large black van stopped in the driveway.

A young man of average height came out of the driver's side door.

He wore a tight white shirt that clanged to his muscular torso, an elegant pair of pants, some dressy shoes, and a pair of glasses.

Before coming to the house he went to the back of the van, opened the door, looked inside like he was making sure everything is ok inside, closed it, and locked the van.

He rang the doorbell and David answered the door.

"Agent Miller, it's good to see you again. Come on in" David greeted the agent.

"Thank you David for seeing me on such short notice." Agent miller replied.

"Of course"

"The attacks have been becoming more frequent. We have to figure out how to help these men" the agent said as he came inside.

"I'm working on it day and night, and I have made some progress in my research. Have you brought in more statu... ahm victims?". David explained.

"Yes, there are two in my van. Both were found in a CrossFit box in the suburbs. We suspect one of them was a witness who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Poor thing. If we can get someone able to talk, even for a minute..."

 "Come with me agent." David let agent Miller to one of the rooms near the front door.

"You remember James? You sent him to me three weeks ago". David approached a seemingly frozen and naked James.

"Yes, of course. We couldn't even locate a next of kin for this poor guy." 

"Well, this visor he's wearing is my own invention. It portrays a series of high-frequency lights. I have seen an increase in brain activity with James after wearing these. Hopefully, with some more tweaking, we can get him responsive." David lied through his teeth.

David knew this wasn't the use of this device, he also knew it was actually turned off at the moment.
