I understand a SI might have to endure hardships but burning alive is enough no need to make this story full of angst. After a certain point MC suffering and failing becomes tedious. Also, this is just me others might think different and disagree, I read fanfics and self inserts because I like reading an alternate timeline where things workout and people get a happy ending if I wanted to see suffering and hardship it is just logical to read the original work. But this is just me and you are free to determine how things will go. I will keep reading your work eagerly. Thank you for your story.
