1. When I was growing up my Dutch family members had these cute little traditional Delft figurines of a boy and a girl smooching. I was thrilled to find same-sex versions in the smoke shops when I was in the Netherlands this summer. (And a little Delft bunny, of course.) 🌷
2. I recently saw the cheeky circus-ballet Duck Pond and really loved it. It was a creative take on Swan Lake, and there was a thrilling kinky scene where a mostly nude woman stomped all over a mostly nude man in sexy red heels. Reminded me of something… if you live in Pensylvania, or in Australia you can see it on their upcoming tour. 👠

3. I took my Mother with me to see the Duck Pond show (she is very cool) and while chatting during the intermission we discovered that we both do the same thing when we’ve been scrolling our tv streaming options for too long, and can’t find something to watch; we put on Moana. We both find it soul soothing, a sensory delight. We’ve never discussed this tactic, nor our love for this movie, yet we both came to the same solution. It made me feel so connected to her. (And we both cry when the Grandma sings to Moana 🥲.)
4. Our upcoming slumber party is at capacity and we have so many fun things planned! More on that tomorrow! 🔥
5. I have been adopted by a cuddle bug. I volunteer for our local shelter and when they asked me to foster this 50 pound baby while she recovered from surgery I was quite taken with her gentle spirit. She was adopted and the kids and I rejoiced in her happy ending… until that mother fucker returned her to the shelter a few days later saying she was too “clumsy and needy”. 😧 She’s only a baby, of course she’s needy, the shelter is rough for a puppy who doesn’t have much confidence yet. And we find her clumsiness quite endearing, she’s all legs and heart. She’s going to be a giant guard dog one day, the perfect companion. So we drove down to the shelter and brought her home for good. 🥹 She has the softest fur, and the most beautiful eyes, and she turns into a little puddle in your lap; the perfect antidote to a terrible winter. Meet my new baby:
