Hi Friends,

It was my birthday this weekend and I’m another year older. I’m feeling really proud of what I’ve accomplished this year. I’ve done a lot of personal work and that feels powerful. My kids are thriving, our coven community is stronger than ever, and your support has allowed me the time to give back to people who deserve it. I’m just wrapping up a huge (successful!) fundraiser initiative that I was spearheading in my regular life, and my pivot in my day job to invest in myself and be my own boss is gaining some momentum!

I’m looking so forward to my 42nd spin around the sun. My big goals are taking a big summer vacation with my teenagers and spending more peaceful days in my garden with my wild dog. I’d also like to self-publish a small book of prose about queer femininity. (Okay probably about fisting but you get the drift.) It’ll take some work to make those things a reality, but I’m ready and I’m excited.

Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy was one of my favourite books in high school, and when they ask a super powered computer the meaning of life, the universe, and everything it spits out an answer: 42

Makes sense now.

Thank you for making it possible for me to archive our queer joy and connect with so many other creative folks colouring outside the lines. I’m glad you’re here and I feel lucky to have you guys in my corner.
