Over lockdown last year she made the excellent decision to take charge of her body and make some changes. In O’s own words:
“I like my scars, I love how my body is recovering and has mended itself and I marvel at what our bodies can endure. This was a very personal choice and I’m very fortunate to be in a position where I could make it. I also love that I had such a supportive coven around me as I was recovering, and sharing pictures of progress even when it was still new and scary helped me come back to my body.”
Watching Kitten paint her newly healed scars with glitter at the first slumber party back felt like true magic. Cheers to decorating our bodies and making them our home as best we can. And cheers to growth and change.
