Pretty Kitty

(Kitten - Sapphic Slumber Party 7 - 09/21)

Kitten and I have officially been in each others lives for over a decade. She was 18 when we met, adorable and collared at the end of a short leash. I was 29 and trying to figure out how to hold space for all of the identities I’d accumulated. We orbited in the same kink spaces.

My protective instincts kicked in around her, she was quiet and batted her long lashes. She was one of the only other weed-smokers who hung around that crowd, so I was always trying to whisk her away to smoke a joint on the rooftop of whatever strange party space we were in that weekend, check in and make sure she was feeling okay about whatever elaborate plans were brewing. Her poise and sureness were something I admired.

It took a year of seeing each other at events, flirting a little, courting. Heady moments with her in my lap, kisses I’d think about for days, hard to explain feelings in spite of my better judgment… Eventually I got over my nerves and asked her out. The whole thing was chronicled in my early blog posts, which is still the sweetest diary to read. She quickly became my little kitten, my sweet little girl, and I became her Daddy who fussed over her and adored her. Our dynamic felt natural and easy, hours would pass with her in my lap, her panties soaked.

It was through this connection that I found my space as a top, and gained confidence in what it was I wanted out of sexual situations. I’d just had a car accident and was struggling with PTSD, having space where I could be sexual but still in control was LIFE CHANGING at that time. I’ll forever be grateful for the gift of her submission and her trust. Through the years we’ve had moves and changes but she’ll always have a very special space in my heart as my Miss Meow kitty-little. When I see her glowing my heart skips a beat.

This is the first photo I have of Kitten (below), it was posted on my Tumblr blog in October 2013. Watching her blossom into the gorgeous, confident, badass babe you see in the photo above has been an absolute joy. (I didn’t mean for this to get all mushy but IT DID AND NOW I’M CRYING!) Anyway, I love this beauty and I have for a very long time. Look at her….
