Acclimatization

We didn’t have to follow normal social conventions. It was absolutely fine to stop mid-sentence because you were distracted by Kitten’s boots, or Ms.O trying to give Anna the pretty marks she was asking for.
The exciting atmosphere made the stakes low, we could acclimatize with the sounds of smacks and moans and nervous giggles. We could say out loud “this is weird” and it was okay. If I have to ease back into the social sphere after a mother fucking pandemic THIS is what I want it to look like.
