We just passed day 150 here... I’m getting a little stir crazy. My husband has been away for work and I’ve been single parenting, it’s fun but exhausting, privacy is a dream...

BUT! This weekend... Max and I are celebrating the one year anniversary of our first date. A year ago I sent a risky text after midnight confessing my crush on her, flustered and giddy. A year ago I woke up to her sweet reply, asking me out for a drink. A year ago I talked myself out of that date a dozen or so times before putting on my cute horse dress and changing my own destiny by saying YES. A year ago we had the most butterfly-filled first date at a queer bar called The Beaver (which has since closed thanks to the pandemic, RIP) where we watched the most beautiful drag performance to Send In The Clowns. It made no sense at all but here we are a year later. (If you click through the Max tags you can find all the posts I wrote about our first few dates, I’m glad I had all of you to gush to!)

She’s on nights this week and I’ve been staying up late sending her teases and saucy pictures, counting down until we get THREE WHOLE DAYS TOGETHER!!! I haven’t had 3 days off since JANUARY and I can not wait. Just her and I (okay and the pup) and no distractions (except yes the troublesome pup) and TIME.

Also don’t fucking tell her but I totally paid for Carole Baskin to send a video wishing her a Happy Anniversary and saying some of our silly inside jokes!!!! Ahhhhhhhh!
