Bio: Calysta grew up reading horror books and mystery novels and became very interested in solving puzzles. This path eventually led her to college and she focused on computer forensics and intelligence analysis and criminology. While she works primarily as a civilian employee of the Austin Police Department she often gets tired of being on the sidelines and takes things into her own hands, usually getting captured as a result. This has led her to be teased by the uniformed officers and reprimanded by her boss. She has minimal fighting skills but has fun taking up escrima for athletics and training. Always ready to take on new cognitive challenges she is often shy and an introvert but feigns confidence when giving briefings or at speaking events. She is thoughtful and often overthinks things due to her analytical background.
Writers Note: Calysta and Miyuri live in the same canonical universe but have never interacted and may never interact. Calysta’s world will be more crime oriented and snooping focused and more realistic tone.
