I hear that Nier Automata is not actually the first game, as Replicant is a remake? or the original Nier. But let me know if you'd rather the release order of Automata/Replicant, or the "chronological?" (idk the story) of Replicant first, Automata after. Happy voting!

Ohh NieR Automata one of my favorites (and one of the few that I 100%) I guess there are arguments to play Replicant first, but in my personal experience I don't think I would have enjoyed Replicant as a standalone title without playing Automata first. They are only tangentially related but there are certainly references or throwbacks, also Replicant is simply lesser in game design/mechanics/quests. If it was up to me Automata would be my choice, but either would be great

2025-04-26 03:20:21 +0000 UTCI did miss out on the other post, and since the comments have been disabled, I can't see what was said there. I do have a concern by deciding game that way though. The earlier somebody suggest a game, the more time that comment will have to get likes. As opposed to a suggestion that appear 10 min before the deadline. I mean, the number of likes might not represent the popularity of the game with uneven "vote" time.
