I prefer the punch option, and not getting the feather, it feels more theatrical to slay her but thematically better to convince it’s just underwhelming with the feather it’s sad

2025-01-20 20:44:28 +0000 UTCSo as someone who punched the First Warden, no you can't pick up the feather. It did feel a bit anticlimactic. The other version isn't much longer, but it's a bit weird that they'd just have her drop dead. It's nice that there's an option to convince her, but it's a shame that they didn't make the resolution a bit longer than if you just had to kill her. I didn't mind the traversal that much, but Rivain is probably the most annoying place to traverse...especially in the volcano. There's also a chest outside with a Taash R2 trigger that just...doesn't work properly. You basically have to run into the wall while spamming it because it doesn't actually show up.
