It is a little unfortunate though, as Mapo didn't get to quest much in Treviso at all before needing to make that decision. Even Lucanis' story will now be very limited. I do wish the game didn't rely on shock value there and gave a warning.

Not preventing a Venatori coup and losing a lot of Shadow Dragons is bad, but the city itself is relatively fine and has resources to recover. Treviso, though, was already vulnerable, occupied, and would be blighted everywhere with innocent civilians dying daily. I figured we can fight back against Venatori still, but there's no curing a blighted canal city.

2024-11-24 19:26:42 +0000 UTCI ended up choosing treviso because I wanted to romance Lucanis, but honestly, to me the choice to save minrathous makes more sense because losing it to the venatori seems like a massive disaster that will endanger everyone, whereas losing treviso is bad really only for treviso.

2024-11-23 22:26:56 +0000 UTCThe Minrathous/Treviso choice was very frsutrating to me. Mintrathous has a standing army and a castle that shoots lasers. Treviso has some crows and is already weakened by the Antaam who will not help with the dragon. It feels one-sided to me. (I say as Mapo chooses Mintrathous xD )
