As you damage Dark Link he gets stronger and more aggressive. The only thing he can't counter is your equipment. I can't remember if bombs or hookshot do anything to him, but he can't do anything about the hammer.

2024-06-12 01:22:16 +0000 UTC"Why does the hookshot stun?" In the original Zelda the boomerang was designed to stun enemies and guarantee a rupee drop when defeated while stunned. The hookshot, introduced in LttP was like an enhanced version of the boomerang that not only stunned enemies and guaranteed a rupee drop, but also pulled Link places. The same functionality is in the boomerang and hookshot in this game!
