Just wanted to note that if the base game becomes too low-level, one solution is to enable the "even grounds" trial, which scales enemies up to your level.

2023-09-20 23:17:10 +0000 UTCI don't think this counts as a spoiler. You can finish the main quest and do the DLCs and continue exploration afterwards. It's similar to Skyrim where finishing the main quest doesn't lock you out of anything. I left the main quest to the very end and I honestly wish I hadn't. I was so overpowered it was a cakewalk lol.

2023-09-20 22:26:28 +0000 UTCNow is definitely a good time to take a break if you're just getting into the DLCs and are planning to finish Jaws of Hakkon + The Descent before completing the base game. The DLCs are big adventures on their own, including their own side content. All of the DLCs are good and each has something different to offer, so it's not a bad idea to get refreshed before taking a deep dive into them.
