Yeah, I’m with you on all of that. The only part that made me feel a bit uneasy was how both Choco and Milk kept all their memories and feelings for Jingwoo, and that he still recognised them as his pets. It’s not even the concept itself, it’s just that I kept imagining my own pets in that situation and I was like… nope haha

I love this series, cute and touching - there's some healing Jingwoo needs to go through, which is quite moving. The romance aspect might be weird for some, but not if you look at it from a mythological and mystical perspective: the story is about souls that have lived through a lot more than just a life of a cat or dog, like all the stuff they had experienced in the afterlife, etc. So, I don't see them as animals; they were just animals in one of their past lives, but there is more depth to them as souls. It's sort of like reincarnation, where you as a human could have been a worm or an eagle or a wolf or a dog or a pig, or another human, in many past lives, reborn again and again. In this case, Choco and Milk were not reborn as babies who grew up but were given grown human bodies & are here only temporarily, but they have still existed in the afterlife, and went through certain trials, etc. in order to even get the chance to come back to Earth. These kind of stories are familiar to me as a lover of mythology, so even the romantic aspect of the story is not that weird to me, since it develops slowly and a bit unexpectedly for both - they were not planning on that part to happen, but as soon as they became human, even if temporarily, they were no longer animals, even though they were animals in the past. They eat human food, they experience human emotions, and so on...

Oh... A moment during which you were not yet blonde... Another Korean series that shows us very original characters, very well worked and with very particular psychologies... The first time I saw this series, it was immediately a crush... Certainly, it is short but so emotionally rich... With characters, immediately endearing. I don't think we should see anything weird in it, the possibility of a love affair between the three or two of the three main characters... Through reincarnation, after all, which is very much established in Asian culture and beliefs, the soul travels... And so one can very well have been a woman or an animal in another life... What is surprising here is that in the human body, the animal's consciousness has survived... Choko and Milk remember that they were Jeong Woo's animals... But they have become human and they are becoming more and more human, through their bodies and their emotions... And, yes, they are not there for nothing... Coming back for such a short time is, as you think, a kind of mission...

This is an adorable 4 minute 'prequal' to the Choco Milk story. Enjoy 🥰 https://youtu.be/zvaFOufbYV8?si=H8kZva6n-WPPoa8f

this is the best part about this show! The actors did a fantastic job at conveying the dog/cat personalities!

I love when Jung Woo gives them the cherry tomatoes. Milk takes it first, inspects it and then eats it. Choco just blindly eats it directly from Jung Woo's hand. The cat/dog energy in this is terrific
