I actually have read the novel and I can say that scene with Tonkla was done SO differently that I don't know what to think about it... Lots of other people are wondering if Thara will be able to turn him into a vampire? I'm not sure if that's a humane thing to do though. Actually there's a LOT that's different from the novel so I have no idea how this is gonna end up. Which is kinda nice.. kinda ehhhhhhh cause I feel like some important things are just getting used as plot devices? I also found out that this is P'Ark's directorial debut and I guess that could contribute to some of the issues. New director, new genre, new main couple, no sponsors.... this is what we get. It's not awful but it could be so much more! I still absolutely LOVE this show. And Joss and Gawin are doing a phenomenal job! They're gonna kick some ass in Only Friends! (X is also full of peeps that want J and G to star in a Thai remake of Red White and Royal Blue! Gawin just wants to not play a kid anymore XD And Joss said a mafia vs cop enemies to lovers sounded real fun. He wants a chance to fight and kick Gawin's ass LMFAO So much love!) ALSO DOTH MY EARS DECEIVE ME!? DID I RECEIVE A SHOUTOUT? Whoops now I'm screaming. XB sorry. Also next time it has to be a full fledged "Koooooobbbyyyyyyyy!" =) Now I wanna talk more about the good things! MARK FELL ASLEEP AND DREAMED! Ahh it was everything I've waited for! And to find that his dream was influenced by Tong being cute and toying with him while he slept! TOT I'm glad Tong and Tonkla got a chance to make up with each other before that scene. =( And I'm actually proud of Tong for not stretching out the break up drama. It was a few days but in a lot of other BL's it could be a few YEARS LOL. Tonkla as a father-in-law had me rolling... plus Mark totally going along with it.. TOT Sorry for always writing short novels.. >.< BUT THANK YOU FABU FOR WATCHING WITH US! =)

2025-05-11 21:31:34 +0000 UTCI could be wrong, but I think that Nakan was just using Tongkla as a red herring - making Mark and Tong worry about him so that Nakan could use the other friends as his horses. But I agree that the execution wasn't as good as it should have been. Also, the death of Tongkla is a major event and seems like it could have been done in an even more impactful way. Also, Nakan's long planned capture of Tongkla only lasted for 20 minutes, so it makes him seem less menacing as an evil mastermind.
