2024-11-27 02:40:22 +0000 UTCI think of this show as being more of a character study...it's more about the moody vibes and great cinematography and terrific acting than a great romance. And that's what I like about it. Also, my dad was a Hillbilly: here in the US, that's a person who grew up in Appalachia...a hilly, rural area. The stereotype is that they are simple, unsophisticated, and a bit slow, and love country music... compared to people from the big cities. I'm guessing that Korea has a similar stereotype of country folk.
