New Year, New Rear

It had been just past midnight, the confetti still settling on the floor and champagne glasses clinking in the background. Lisa, her eyes sparkling with excitement, turned to Mark and declared, “This year, I’m finally going to get fit! That’s my New Year’s resolution. What about you, babe?”

Mark shrugged, sipping his drink lazily. “Uh, I don’t know. I guess I’ll just… keep doing what I’m doing?”

Lisa’s expression immediately fell, her enthusiasm dimmed by his lack of drive. “Seriously? That’s so lame, Mark. Come on, you should do it with me! We can get fit together—it’ll be fun!”

“Sure, Lisa,” he said, voice dripping with sarcasm. “I’ll get fit too. Totally.”

“You better mean that,” she said, squinting at him suspiciously, though the sparkle in her eyes returned at the thought of them working out as a power couple.

By February, Lisa’s resolution was thriving. She had joined a yoga class, cleaned up her diet, and was already starting to see results. Mark, on the other hand, hadn’t done much beyond a half-hearted attempt at swapping soda for sparkling water.

One afternoon, Lisa finally confronted him. “Mark, I think we need to break up.”

His jaw dropped. “Wait—what? Why?!”

“I just don’t think we’re compatible anymore,” she explained, her voice calm but firm. “I’m trying to better myself, and you’re… not. I want a partner who inspires me, not someone who’s stuck in the same old habits.”

Mark panicked. “No, no! You’re right—I’ll change! I’ll start working out, eating better, whatever you want!”

She raised a skeptical eyebrow. “Really? Because you’ve said that before, and I’m not seeing it.”

“I mean it this time!” he pleaded.

Lisa considered for a moment, then smirked. “Alright. If you’re serious, you’ll come to my yoga class tomorrow. I want to see you put in the effort, and I want to know you’re not going to bail.”

The next morning, Mark was digging through his gym bag when Lisa tossed a pair of snug black yoga pants and a lavender tank top onto the bed.

“What’s this?” he asked, frowning.

Lisa grinned. “Oh, didn’t I mention? It’s a women’s-only class. If you’re going to come, you’ll need to blend in.”

Mark froze, staring at the clothes. He wanted to protest, but Lisa’s raised eyebrow dared him to back down. He sighed, slipping into the yoga pants and tank top, which clung tightly to his body in ways he wasn’t used to.

Before he could say anything, Lisa sat him down in front of the mirror and pulled out her makeup bag. A layer of foundation smoothed over his skin, a touch of blush softened his face, and a swipe of lip gloss gave him just enough of a feminine glow. Finally, she tied his hair into a loose, messy ponytail.

By the time she stepped back, Mark didn’t recognize himself in the mirror.

“Perfect,” Lisa said, grabbing her bag. “Let’s go, Marissa. You don’t want to be late!”

Six months later, Mark was a distant memory, and Lisa wasn’t complaining. Her eyes drifted to Marissa, who was currently stretched out in a flawless downward dog. Lisa’s gaze lingered on her girlfriend’s juicy ass, the snug pink yoga pants straining over her curvy figure.

Pride swelled in Lisa’s chest as she watched. Both of their New Year’s resolutions had stuck, and it was impossible to argue with the results. Marissa’s toned legs, slim waist, and perfectly round rear were proof of her hard work—and Lisa couldn’t help but admire how far things had come.

Lisa smirked to herself, sipping her smoothie as Marissa flowed into her next pose. She’d never imagined things turning out like this, but as far as she was concerned, it couldn’t have gone better.
