Those of us that read Sammy first should have known better. I am sorry you had to endure that abuse, if I don't like a story I just don't rate it or respond (any person who writes must be given kudos for trying) The only person in the Sammy Saga who went to the bottom and stayed there was the unnamed narrator in the beginning because as you said he just wanted to use brute force to dominate others (and of course ended up where he belonged at the bottom). As to no one believing Archie would land in a good place, remember only you knew where the story was going but I for one had faith things would work out. And, the reason I thought so was what happened when Gray and Archie first got together before Gray rightly gave up.

When I was writing this I got SO much shit from people about the direction of the story. Saying it started out so good and now I am just a dick punishing Archie. I mean the level of hatred and vitriol when these chapters were released was insane. The only thing that kept me uploading was I knew how this ended and how wrong they were. Most people just want instant gratification and aren't willing to actually sit through an arc where people go through bad shit and learn from it. I wanted Archie to hit rock bottom in just about every way before Gray came back, but him coming back was always the plan and no one believed it at the time.

The Sammy Saga was my introduction to your writing and Top Dawg came second. These two stories cemented me as a rabid fan. As to Chapter Nineteen, this had to be the low point for Archie but knowing what is around the corner as an Archie fan (and of course Gray fan) allows me to endure this low point. By the way I hope we get to see these two at Eden in the future.
