Weekly Status Report: 2026/01/04 to 2026/01/10
Added 2026-01-11 23:00:03 +0000 UTCMost of the work this week consisted of watching Blood Blockade Battlefront. I watched the first half of season 1 with Ryan and took meticulous notes. He's loving the show. Xavier worked on matching shared roles between the Japanese and English cast.
I DID do some work on Project Bill. I read up on some interviews and consumed bits and pieces of the content. I also have at least one of the home media releases I need to rip and back up. My team and I also talked about a project in 2027, and that's gonna be a recurring theme given how excited we all are about it that we talk about it at least once a week.
No response from Shira yet. I'll nudge her again. Once she approves, I'll post the link to the interview.
This Friday you can look forward to Anpanman EVF behind-the-scenes notes! I have 13 more of those to write as of now as any multi-part ones will be one post... Fullmetal Alchemist's notes will cover both the 2003 and Brotherhood episodes, so please bear with me as there's no way those are getting done by next Friday. I am a good ways through the main parts, though.
I had a scare this afternoon. My laptop was running hot. Over 100°F hot. After letting it cool in front of a box fan, I turned it on and confirmed everything was working. I even opened it up and confirmed the fans work. No idea what happened, so, FALSE ALARM. Everything's working as intended.
