With Tom talking about how this scenario went with another group of players really got me thinking about, "what if mystery quest made a set of videos where Tom takes 2 separate groups of people through the same scenario?" I think it would be a cool idea to see how different groups would play the same story!

It wasn’t too much and was very enjoyable. At one point I thought this was going to be the bad guy wins scenario. The danger felt very real with this one. Awesome!

I do not have amfantasia but I also do not have any real issue with written or spoken horror. And I'm not a big horror fan I generally don't like them on movies. But I think because it's really easy to accept that this is just the idea of somebody getting hurt and not actually watching like the entire process of somebody getting their skin ripped from their body. I think those tend to be more brutal in a movie setting because you got to watch the entire action happen in like 2 seconds whereas if somebody's talking about it you have a lot of time to process and prepare for the horror. Spoken horror lens itself way more to building tension in my opinion. For example you know that scene in a quiet place where the mother like has pulled a nail straight upwards when she was dragging the sack of laundry up the stairs and you just know that at some point she's going to like impale her foot on that nail. That scene of like her stepping on that nail was way more disarly impactful to me watching that then hearing Lydia talk about jamming someone's head into a broken glass shelf to decapitated.

Stop worrying, You warned us (thankyou), we knew what was going on. My reaction to this was nothing like my absolutely visceral reaction to previous "swallowing spider" shenanigans. (I was dry retching and slightly ran off the road). Love it all, That you can elicit such reactions is testimony to your skills as story tellers. <3

This was a great one, and Cheers to Lydia for taking it to full on slasher territory - it was great! Moo
