April 2021 News, content changes, Patreon tiers revamp!

Hey there!
I wanted to share with you my plans for Patreon from now on, don’t hesitate to scroll down and comment your thoughts on this new plan of mine.

TL;DR: I want to make more original content, but to make that happen I need to spend more time on making it, which mean I will be using less time making fanart content. Also Patreon tiers small changes.

My plan since the start was always to make original content showcasing my characters and telling their stories, always keeping on theme with size difference/macro, with a spoonful of bara daddies. But I didn’t want to deprive myself from having a fanart artist starting phase, I think I can check that out.

At the moment I’m happy with the volume of fanart content on my page, I’m not fully turning away from doing fanart, I'm just going to veer a bit to make more original content instead of only fanart content.

Also, I will be making small tweaks to Patreon tiers, nothing radical. Basically, name changes, icons and new benefits.

CHANGES TO FANART:

I’m going to lower the quantity of fanart monthly posts from three to two. Instead of making a big poll with a lot of random characters and picking the top 3 winners; I’m going to make two separate polls with fewer options each but whose idea I have a clearer view off.

The first fanart poll will have character/s for illustrations or sequences of images with alterations.

The second fanart poll will have a list of previously released comic that I have a following part in mind. At the moment I have no new comic ideas in sight (first parters).

This change means that I will no longer be sending private messages to arrange an extensive fanart poll each month. However! My fanart pieces posts have been mostly constructed by your choice of characters, who you wanted me to draw in macro style situations. I want to keep that going on, in future polls post I will remember you to comment with your ideas/suggestions for new character to draw, if any idea struck interest, I will take note of them to consider on future polls.

MORE ORIGINAL CONTENT:

I want to spend more time working on original content: writing, drawing and animating pieces that includes my original characters (like Omar), developing and designing their story and the lore of their world, make concept artwork, introduce new characters, etc.

My long-term goal (sounds like a dream to me atm) would be telling the stories that intertwine my characters, their relationships, the history of the world they live in. But I have nothing written yet, just concepts and ideas. I’d admit that I wish to make a comic/manga to tell all the story, but that’s something I am not able to decide yet.

My short-term goal is to spend more time working on the next animated short: “Morning Piss Lake”, with Germán as the main character. I will make a dedicated post later explaining better how its production process will be.

CHANGES TO PATREON TIERS:

I’m thinking on revamping my patreon tiers: changing their names, adding icons and adding extra TIER 2+ rewards. Prices will remain the same.

Currently the tiers are called as follow: Loyal Supporter, Dedicated Supporter, Devoted Supporter… And It is sounds kinda odd. I'm thinking on something more in line:

TIER 1: Tiny Supporter
 - Early access to finished content, Access to exclusive content (mostly NSFW), Credits on projects.

TIER 2: Human Supporter
- (All of above), Participate on polls, (new) Concept art work, (new) WIP compilation of current animation productions.

TIER 3: Giant Supporter
- (All of above), WIP animations/illustration process, (Maybe writing stuff in the future?).

TIER 4: Titan Supporter
(I am sorry to announce I cannot get any bigger credit card reader at the moment, the truck sized one I ordered for the new TIER 3 patrons is already eating up my whole garage 😬).

IN CLOSING

Those would be the changes I’m going to make starting this mere month of April, hope you are excited as me to more original content, time for more Omar!
