Fallout 4 - Mech Arm v1.1 - early access

- Okay, calling this v1.1 is a bit of a stretch. There is nothing really new here and nothing here for more advanced users, this is mostly for people with no or very little modding knowledge.

- Original arm is using an equip slot that conflicts with a lot of footwear mods (body slot-33), so users will notice ingame that they can only use one or the other. This is not really that big of a deal to navigate around for people with minimum modding knowledge, however not everyone has that. It feels like I've been getting and seeing messages about this every month ever since I put this file out, so at this point I really want to nip it once and for all.

- 2 files are attached here:

1. An updated plugin and nif files that have some footwear I previously made already on, alongside the arm, so that equipping them ingame will come with both. 4 shoes included: Revy, Metal Boots, Converse and Aboots, so now you get out of the box support for those. If you want to use different shoes than the ones included then:

2. A simple tutorial that goes over how to replace the footwear model from a particular nif to something else. Also how to change a material file to something else. It only covers the most basic knowledge, but it should be enough for someone to get whatever shoe/boot model they want working with the arm ingame, which I figure will be enough for most.

Warning(NSFW): the tutorial has pictures of a nude female body, it being part of the model, so may not be the most family friendly thing :)

REQUIRED FILES (to be installed before using v1.1):

- original mech arm: https://www.patreon.com/posts/fallout-4-mech-47233077
- revy boots: https://www.patreon.com/posts/fallout-4-revy-54816529
- converse sneakers pack: https://www.patreon.com/posts/fallout-4-pack-48702463
- metal boots: https://www.patreon.com/posts/fallout-4-metal-70507216
- ABoots: https://www.patreon.com/posts/fallout-4-aboots-40371336

*Note: with the exception of the original mech arm file, those shoe mods are technically not hard requirements (as in you will be able to use this without some installed). You CAN only download what you want to use ingame. Not getting one of the footwear mods and still equipping it ingame should simply result in a purple appearance (missing textures) for that particular footwear, which shouldn't bother you since you didn't want to use it anyway :P

*Note2: this only works for the original mecharm (linked above), the separate mecharm texture pack will not play well with this out of the box (at the plugin level).  However the tutorial should teach you how to change the materials for the arm to whatever you want including the ones from the pack as long as you already have them installed. Something, something, teach a man how to fish something....

You install the original (and what is required and linked in the post) and then you install this.

do i overwrite the original? or unpack it as its own mod?

Baja blast

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, the mech arm was always put on a single arm, so the other hand/arm were left untouched.

hey man, I just noted that the sole "robo hand" glove has no textures in the other hand, it looks like flesh. Is that intentional? Not complaining, just asking.
