The original goal was 100 patrons, but I feel confident enough to lower it to 90 patrons. I've now hired a Substitute Assistant to the Uriah team! It's someone who can jump in and work whenever a colourist is sick, goes on vacation, or when we're making a longer episode than usual (something we're trying to do much more this season).
This Substitute Assistant is an old friend of mine, in fact, he's my oldest internet friend. We started talking when we were 14-something. In college, we went to the same Comic Art School in Sweden and we got to meet each other for the first time! It was a fantastic day and I even get a little teary thinking about it. We've watched each other grow as artists for over 10 years.
His name is Jet and he's a horror fan just like me. He's the creator of the dark fantasy apocalyptic series The Next Reaper on WEBTOON. I highly recommend it! What is it about? Briefly, Death is getting old and needs an heir as the seven deadly sins are taking over the world. You can read it here.
