- Another update for this arm. Modeled up 'till the elbow joint, some pieces more detailed than others, but the primary more important things are in there. I think there's more than 100 pieces in this model so far.
- Originally, I was going to go up untill the shoulder joint, but since this is taking so long, I'm stopping here, or at least slightly higher than the round elbow joint (have to do a connection to the bicep area). After that connection is made, I'll do another detail pass to refine or finish some leftover areas and clean up the model and the highpoly should be complete.
- That might make it seem like there's still a lot of work left to do on this and that is somewhat true, but realistically, not that much, getting to this point (or at least after I do the above) was the hard part. Doing lowpoly work on this should be relatively fast.
- This might have a high poly count in the end. I spent so much time modelling and putting all those details in that I'm not sure I have it in me to slash 'em and bake those in the normal map, in the name of some arbitrary attempt at optimization. The future is now I guess :P
