On request and because I also wanted to renovate my game hospital! ;)
The medicalised bed frames exist in left and right, allowing the routing to be from one direction only.
The overbed table has no footprint to allow it to be over the bed, as it's supposed to be (Sims 4 are so sensitive to that, much worse than Sims 3!), but it means Sims will walk through it if they have the opportunity; also it can only be used for decorative purposes, no meal can be served there.
