Questions for Sims 4 players!

I think I already complained about that, but I just hate that we can't disable slot snapping in Sims 4, unlike we can do it in Sims 3. So, I'm reluctant at adding slots to decorative objects because, bam, every object you turn around will end snapped to it... I know that there's slot fillers, but well...
So! My question is:

Do you like better having slots on decorative objects, like books, and deal with the inconvenients? Or do you like better peace of mind without slots, and use another method when you want to put something on another object?

Comments

Just use the Alt key when you move an object, it disables the snapping. :)

"I just hate that we can't disable slot snapping in Sims 4, unlike we can do it in Sims 3" Wait... seriously? Do you mean that there's a way to stop my small deco objects in TS3 from snapping together when they have slots? Is it possible to learn this power?

Amy Murphy

I'd say keep the slots for the deco objects that make sense. Such as stackable jars, towels, books, etc.
