I like how Dick's argument about the metric vs imperial is both smart and dumb. There is no practical difference between the two systems in day to day life. Even if Americans could somehow magically switch from metric overnight with no need to get used to it, there would be no real benefit to that. But he would be totally fucked if he tried feet, gallons and pound-force in a European hardware store. He would fail building a table just the same.

I love my hot water, air dryer Bidet. I also have a cold water bidet that is great. That cold water bidet will wake you up in the morning.

Switched to beer brewing using metric and it's much better to measure 10.37 liters for the mash because I can just weigh it. I could round that one up to 2 gallons + 3 quarts, but I just find it easier when you don't get a round gallon part. Plus hops and water salts were in grams anyway on my recipes, and now I can eyeball the grain/water ratios since grain is in kg and 1liter=1kg.

Kid-friendly pride is a huge problem. Having kids involved in anything sexual/debaucherous will melt their tiny brains like the dildos they get from pride parades, left in the back seat of your hot car. Also, Doomsday Prepper's camp is just regular camping.

Dick is an idiot, I built my deck using the metric system and it was ten times easier than using imperial. All I needed was my trusty 0.0000013km drill bit and 0.0048km planks to cut down and assemble. I forgot a decimal place at one point and drilled a hole as big as a hubcap but I threw some builders bog in there and its as good as new. ez
