A lot more watchable than Blade Runner. Less film noir; more Slay the Princess. Deckard was kind of a loner. K at least has Joi, an AI girlfriend. And his boss is First Lady Claire Underwood, sorry, Joshi portrayed by Robin Wright. Bunny's choice to wear Perfect Pris eye shadow, a black shear fabric shirt (the shoulders, sorry 😉) and my favorite, seersuckers, make for a great movie experience!

2024-06-11 14:13:24 +0000 UTCBunny, maybe I missed it, but there are 3 short-subject stories (on Youtube no less), that take place between the 2019 and 2049. If you haven't seen them, definitely worth checking out. Then, there is an animated show, Blade Runner: Black Lotus (2021-2022, 13 episodes), which wasn't highly rated, but it exists at least. I never finished it. But, if you give it a go, I will too. Finally, there is a spinoff TV Show(!) supposedly coming: Blade Runner 2099 starring Michelle Yeoh. We'll have to wait and see if it actually does come out.

Not sure why anyone would say that Robocop, Total Recall, and Starship Troopers are part of a trilogy. Other than having the same director and sharing the sci-fi genre, there's nothing linking them. But I will happily +1 both Robocop (1987) and Total Recall (1990).
