I'm done with "Now and Then" and I have to take a deep breath! Wow, you have to let that sink in first, what a story! Like a good book, where you get closer and closer to the end and count the decreasing pages with regret, it is also here: only three, two or one chapter, then the end is reached, what a pity... And yet it's a great ending, at least with my style of play. I (the MC) have achieved a large and happy family in which everyone (consenting adults) gets along well. My MC has two children and I'm looking forward to a third (Hana). "Fuck it all the rules of the old world. Who was to say we could'nt be happy our own way?" I'm not really a fan of a "Harem", but here it's hardly possible not to have one without offending a loved one or even breaking your heart. But who wants that with such lovable and interesting characters! The special plot also makes such a family possible in the first place. At a time when a pandemic is turning people into dangerous monsters, marauding gangs are wreaking havoc and a military dictatorship is looming in the big cities (CMZ – Capital Militarized Zone), but also a redeveloping civil society is emerging, this small family is an oasis of humanity and love. It leaves the player with satisfaction and optimism. With a calm and patient narrative style, the character development is advanced. How Carol develops from a vulnerable teenager to a courageous, self-confident and characterful young woman, how Naomi grows from a playful girl to a responsible woman, how Alice integrates into the family, how patience and understanding pay off with Hana, all this is well and convincingly portrayed. The flashbacks (Then) with the memories of the past offer a coherent overall picture of the situation in which the characters have developed. The mixture of real photography and the use of a graphic engine is graphically interesting, the sex scenes are consistently successful and very erotic. The game may have a lot of replay value, but certainly not for me. I can't play it any other way than I played it this time. And that's a good thing and I thank the developers for that und for their great work! And now I'm looking forward to TOXICity!

The character development in this work is extremely successful. The personality traits of the characters are very distinct and very interesting. Of course, the pacing of the plot is also smooth and appropriate, the atmosphere is just right, and the overall feeling is much more gentle.

Thanks for the feedback. While we feel that the game is working as we intended with certain stats being scene modifiers, we will take the suggestion and put it in the "to be considered" file. Right now, with the TID bonus content taking up a lot of our time, this kind of rework isn't likely to be done. We may look at changing up the walkthrough to make stat-based scene variances more obvious.

Great new chapter! I'm thoroughly enjoying just how human the characters are, and the balance between plot advancement and emotional moments is damn near perfect. And I can't wait for the little revelation that's been teased to enter the stage proper... As far as gameplay is concerned, I have a little suggestion. While I think the stat system in your games is overally great, One of the few slight grievances I've had in both NaT and here is that without a guide or reading your posts, the player has absolutely no way of knowing when and how the stats - and thus the choices they've made - make any impact in the story. Like, without your posts here making it clear that you-know-who's breakdown is scripted, I'd be stuck wondering if I could've avoided it by keeping her anxiety level lower. And while I'd venture to guess that's also in part by design in order to keep the suspension high, It's also similarly unclear if the ladies would be quite so "forward" with the MC if their trust and desire levels would be lower, or if it's all truly just a product of circumstances. That kind of thing. I know you guys have a lot of work on your hands as is, but still ...I really think it'd be a great improvement to the gameplay if there was at least a small indicator letting the player know "this right here is a point here your choices mattered". Like assigning the different stats colours, and then have the text box fringe turn into that colour for the duration of a scene where this stat was a factor. Just some food for thought.

I enjoyed Ep 7. I was very surprised who pulled away from the MC. I am pulling for them to get a move on to their next temporary quarters.

Time for a first playthrough, I've been saving up the chapters 🗣🗣
