Real good one. Over-centralization is inherently fragile, and quickly becomes co-opted by an inept bureaucratic class that severely overestimate their intellect and importance. These people do not bear the cost of their mistakes, and often have no clue how things work in practice - let alone not all localities are the same and different solutions may be needed depending on the terrain. There are some chilling graphs showing the obscene growth of the administrative layer in both medicine and education, surprise surprise.
