A method change to the ink illustrations

Its been 3 months since I offered the ink illustrations through mail as a reward on patreon and I have enjoyed being able to turn my brain off, put on a movie and just bang out a lot of drawings. But each time I encountered the same problem and it kind of bothers me. Despite how hard I try to stay concentrated it seems to be inevitable the quality drops in each drawing as I get into the motion and I end up throwing away a lot more than what I actually send out because I don't want someone to feel ripped off with a bad drawing. I also have to keep each month's drawing really simple because I need to be able to produce a lot of them, and if I have to spend a half hour on each drawing they would never get done in the time I need them to. This is a problem, because I'm not going purchase prints of ink drawings and just stuff them in an envelope to send off like a secretary doing busy work. But I do think I came up with, what i feel, is a really good solution. This month I ordered rubber stamps with my original illustration and black archival ink. I tested it out and I think the quality is phenomenal after I touch up some spots with an ink brush. Its indistinguishable from the master drawing in my opinion and this way I'm able to produce a quality of illustration I am happy with AND a better more intricate drawing each month. This month was kept relatively simple as a test to see if I approved of the stamps fidelity (it's remarkable look at the precision in the teeth and eyes)

I asked a few of my patrons while I was considering this option their opinions and all of them responded they basically only donate to support me. I can't tell you how much it meant hearing that. However, I know some people aren't going to be happy with this. I'm not gonna hit you with a sales pitch and try to sway you otherwise. If you feel uncomfortable or unsatisfied with this change, you will not hurt my feelings by dropping your support. I will miss you, but I completely understand. Immediately people will think "he's just being lazy" I would hope by now since you've seen my output with my comics and rewards, I'm anything but lazy in my artwork, and that's the exact reason why I felt compelled to switch to this method. The drawings were getting lazy, and I cannot accept sending out artwork that I feel is subpar. This method is actually more expensive because I will be ordering customs stamps and ink each month on top of my printed panels, and after finishing this months illustrations it didn't even take less time. But the quality is going to be a lot better and I'm very satisfied with that. I can't stress enough how much I don't like sending out bad art, and I know the actual quality of the illustrations is low priority to my patreon supporters, but it's something I cannot amend in my own mind. I hope you can understand/

One of the supporters I reached out to on patreon said if I hadn't told them, she wouldn't have known the difference. I technically see where she was coming from. I probably didn't even need to make this post but the last thing I want to do is deceive anybody. You support me and the absolute bare minimum you deserve is my complete honesty in regards to our relationship here. I hope you understand why I feel this change was necessary, and why I truly believe it to be a better alternative. They are still original ink illustrations, it's just the method is different, and the quality doesn't diminish.

PS - The master original that all others are based off will be randomly sent out to one of you each month. This is a hand drawn illustration, and you can tell if you received the master indicated by a star emblem drawn somewhere on the page

I hope I made my reasons for this change clear and reasonable. The dawg loves you babey, and as always, I can't thank you enough for the support.
