2024-10-07 20:33:03 +0000 UTCAgreed. I’m trying to give Arashi the benefit of the doubt (she’s making it hard) as maybe she didn’t have ill intent, but she definitely made no effort to include him. Nao made effort, and it was clear he felt bad after it all. Hopefully the angst won’t continue for too long (but I could totally see it happening), but we shall see!

2024-10-05 10:24:14 +0000 UTCHonestly, when reading the entire chapter all at once, I think Nao hasn’t been as rude or completely ignoring Souta as some people said during the last updates. Like yeah sure, he could have included him more but he still tried several times and he “asked” Souta if it was okay to go to the vinyl shop. And anyway, they’re still teenagers who are learning how to communicate with others (especially Nao). So really, I think the one who’s really been rude here is Arashi because of how she barges in on their hangout time and how she mostly ignores Souta. That said, it’s not an excuse to call her a b*tch or other things even if she’s not been really nice for the moment, we still don’t know much about her and she could completely redeem herself

Souta is really going through it, and it's even more heartbreaking to see how his demeanor changes from being excited to finally spend time with Nao to questioning himself and the validity of his feelings at the end.

2024-10-04 14:37:26 +0000 UTCI remember seeing a lot of people saying that they thought Arashi doesn't have feelings for Nao and while that totally could be true, I feel like she does (especially when this chapter is put together). She just seems very intent on getting Nao's attention to me, but again maybe she doesn't like him (it'd be cool if she was some flavor of queer and that's part of why she and Nao get along so well). I can't help but think that if she already knows about how Nao feels for Souta, though, she wouldn't constantly be trying to be around Nao (before the arcade and now this). Also it's like kinda crazy rude to join someone else's hangout without being invited?? Like that's wack. Regardless, I'm so excited for the next chapter!
