Poll + Weekly Update (Please read before voting)

I′ve had some reflections this past weekend. I’ve been thinking about the current state of Chapter 2.5, what will be contained, what will not make it into this version and so on. So far it looks as if I can release with what I have currently planned between the end of February and early March. However, I’m not absolutely sure if that’s the right choice.
What I have so far for Chapter 2.5 is a really nice story, some great looking renders and some nice new additions like an upgrade-able ship. And of course a whole new map to explore. But what is not included are things like multiple player cities, new researches and buildings, and overall you won’t have a lot to expand the depth of your empire outside of growing in overall size.
This issue leaves me two options:
- I could try to release what I have as soon as it′s ready and in a good enough and bug-free state.
- I could take even more time than I already have to make Chapter 2.5 a better experience also from the strategy game side.
Ultimately, I don′t want the cool new story to go to waste if the game feels too bland, but I also don′t want to test your patience too much and want to deliver something sooner rather than later.
This leads me to my main question and the reason why there’s a poll attached to this post: What would you prefer?
