Weekly update – The Road to Chapter 2.3

Hi everyone,

I managed to make decent progress last week on a lot of different aspects of XXXivilization – mainly rounding out the new features and doing some overdue bugfixes. The last batch of new events is getting created by my writers, so that looks promising. During the course of this, however, I noticed that some of the new features are not yet as stable as I expected and adding the new events is taking a bit longer than I hoped.

Due to my experience from the last few releases, this time I’m trying to refrain from being overly optimistic. I don’t want to set a release date window that I then have to walk back week after week. So this time I want to let you know in advance: I won′t be able to release Chapter 2.3 in June.

I will do my best to keep you entertained with sneak peeks of new renders in the next couple of weeks to help ease the wait, and I appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience in this matter.
