Weekly Update: Get Ready for the Inquisition

Hi everyone,

The next version of XXXivilization – Chapter 2.2 – is already in full swing and I want to use this update to let you know a bit about the content that’ll be coming in the next update.

Chapter 2.2 is going to be quite a big story extension for the Chapter 2 storyline – specifically, it’ll introduce the Inquisition. As your city experiences more and more troubles with the Demons and their followers, you may find yourself considering more extreme measures to deal with the threat. Would you give free reign to an inquisition to deal with your enemies , or will you keep would-be inquisitors on a tight leash to keep them from getting out of control? Or maybe you’re intrigued by the Demons and don’t wish to actively fight them… As always, the choice will be yours.

I′m rather exited for this new content as it’ll shine a light more towards the politics within your kingdom than on military expansion. Of course there will also be other improvements and new images, but I don′t want to spoil every detail right away.

I’d be happy to hear your thoughts on these new events. If you’re not a patron, keep your eyes open this week, because Chapter 2.1 will become publicly available soon.
