Weekly update – Ups and Downs

Hi everyone,

I have some good and some bad news in this update.

The bad news is that I’ve finished the first balancing playthrough with all the new features and it seems I still need to spend more time on them. Technically they are working well, but they just don’t feel as engaging and fun as I want them to. That means I will have to change things up or add more content tailored to the new features – I’m not quite sure which is the right solution yet – and overall it’ll take a little longer than planned before version 17 is going to be good enough to be shipped.

On the positive side I’ve had some new ideas about a side story of chapter 2 that I think will be really fun to play and the first renders for it are looking extremely promising.
