In case you haven't read it in the release notes, I have added a new option to the cheat menu: You can now increase the experience of your units through it.
Edit, Fix 1: Weather events were not working correctly. I have updated the download link with a fixed version. If you do not want to re-download the entire game you can also just download the one affected file here. Replace the existing file in the "js" folder of your game with it.
If you download and use the fixed version your save games will still work fine.
