Art in XXXivilzation
Added 2018-04-08 11:47:21 +0000 UTCI’ve played around for a few days with some tools to create 3D renders to add to XXXivilization and the results were surprisingly promising.
So I wanted to ask everyone to give me their opinion about adding art in XXXivilization. On one side I guess it would make the game much more appealing and increase the target audience. On the other side I am quite fond of the options you have to customize your character to have the body you like and it is only possible to create so many 3D renders – so either not all character customizing options would be visualised or the amount of customizing options would have to be reduced. Also spending more time on art would of course mean that I can not spend as much time on writing other content – I am still doing this project in my spare time on the side of a 40 hour job.
If you have a more nuanced opinion or want to tell me something else about the whole thing feel free to leave a comment!

I think 3D renders are fine, but I don't think you should 3D render the main character since it will be difficult to get all options there. It would work well for side characters/villains who do not change as much as though.
