Update Post!

appearantly i love making these type of posts, so here i am once again bringing some (hopefully) positive adjustments. i'm gonna walk you through as painlessly as i can! this update is centered all around the polls, the resulting fanart and your support. (TLDR at the bottom)

1) redundant winners
to avoid characters getting favoured too much by random chance (lookin' at you ladies Belladonna and Dinah) i decided to give the smash bros CPUs which i use for deciding the 5 options an ever decreasing CPU level based on the number of times they appeared in the poll already. the aforementioned divas both appeared 4 times since november which puts them at level 5. see this as weighted odds. this way we can keep the winners more diverse. if a character reaches level 1 they will be back to level 9 next time. should work in theory, if it doesn't in practice, we'll think of a different solution.

2) monthly art
occasionally mental and artistic challenges make it impossible for me to finish art in time (like the current Dinah piece). so, screw the monthly deadline. instead, i will treat the characters you guys vote for like a commission queue. the winners get added to the queue and i work on them without the pressure of a time limit. i will make sure to give info and show progress of those pieces in forms of WIPs and sketches as per usual, so you guys don't feel ghosted.

3) your support
i want the monetary support from you guys to be counted towards the poll art more accurately. i set up new thresholds and any money that exceeds a threshold carries over to the next month.
100-200€ - 1 winner/art piece gets added to the queue.
at 400€ - 2 winners/art pieces get added to the queue.
at 600€ - 3 winners/art pieces get added to the queue.
as an example: if your total support reaches 341€ (which would mean 1 winner/art piece) then 141€ carry over to the next month. that way every dollar will be regarded.

TLDR:
1) there'll be less repeating winners among the 5 options of the character polls.
2) fanart won't be delivered within a 1-month deadline anymore, but instead will function like a commission queue i chip away at.
3) pledges that exceed the thresholds to decide how many art pieces i'll make, but don't quite reach the next threshold, will now count towards the next month to ensure each pledge gets counted.

i hope this reads clearly, stay hydrated and i hope you look forward to future art, sketches and more positive changes!

thanks for keeping us up-to-date, interested to see how the new system pans out. I think it'll be good!
