One of the most important aspects that has shaped this photographic project over the years has been the many, many conversations it's given rise to. Many of these conversations centre around issues that typically surface when creating photographs that are ultimately of a rather intimate nature. Questions around boundaries, ethics, morality, body image, codes of conduct, to mention but a few, emerge often. I've found that the types of people who typically put themselves forward for collaborations of this kind often want to delve into these subjects. As a result, I have done a fair amount of thinking and conversing around the processes and decision making that result in this photography and I am wondering whether it would be worthwhile to write some short essays trying to crystallise my thoughts and post them here.
And so the question is ... would you be genuinely interested in reading short essays exploring some of the processes that shape this photography? If you are so kind as to vote in this, perhaps you would also like to share in the comments section which particular aspects you would be most interested in?
