Hm... Maybe Sandbox mode where you could freely select moves and characters will fit better for the roleplay purpose. Anyway, let's see how the further development goes! <3

And I am sorry that my English is shit....

I used custom battles often. I played the game with the idea of role-playing with the character I created, taking screenshots, and creating a story. But my method cannot be used in this version. The anomaly has become too strong... Because I can't decide the AI's rock-paper-scissors... That doesn't mean the game is disappointing. In this version, play flows more naturally and is impressive. It's just my hope that the game will be playable in this version like the last version.

Hm... Let me elaborate further! Do you feel that adding cards to the library in a certain order so the character will use them in the same order in the fight is different from manually selecting the same moves during the fight? Does it makes sense?

Sam3DX

that's very sad to me...... I liked that the two characters could clash with each other as I thought... But I still have the older version of the game. I'll be playing the old version game until a better version of the game comes out.

and yeah, current game logic makes it super hard to add manual card selection for both players, unfortunately...

Sam3DX

Ok, I see a couple of different, separate cases here. 1. The main logic of the game remains the same - main game mode assumes that you don't control the character directly, but set up the Deck (collection of cards to use) and let the fighters fight in auto mode. Choosing each card manually and selecting Rock/Paper/Scissors by yourself is rather a fun bonus, not a recommended way to play. You _are_ controlling both characters, by selecting dedicated decks to use, while "automode" randomly selects Cards from the collection you define and randomly chooses R/P/S. 2. Speaking in math terms, right now the possibility of winning is exactly 50% (keeping in mind both characters use the same Deck, so the situation is equal). And you're 100% right - that's not the correct rate! Having a 50% winning rate by default is wrong, thanks for pointing this out. I will address this issue by adding a mechanism to tweak the opponent's overall power. So we will have something like a slider to set the opponent as (Weak->Moderate->Equal->Hard->Nightmare). I believe it should solve the "impossible to win against AI" issue even in the full manual mode.

Sam3DX

It's too difficult for me. It was impossible to win against AI. I got angry and turned it off. I need a mod that allows me to control both characters. By any chance, can you make all decks available?
