I have to point out that the $5 membership tier states "This gets you the satisfaction of helping the show get made, early access to new episodes of Some More News, ad-free versions of our podcast Even More News, plus other exclusive audio podcasts like Even More Qs or Way Less News," but it never actually says that you ALSO get Some More News ad free, and personally that's the main benefit I was after, but I had to search around to make sure I got it.

It is a Letter writing campaign from scientists to local newspapers about why basic science and federal grants to scientists are important and valuable. The letters are due to be sent out june 16. If you are working on a video about why basic science is important then this might make a good addition. Or you can retweet for visibility. That's all folks
