Hi. On a special Wednesday episode of Even More News, Katy, Cody, and Jonathan discuss Elon Musk's demand for "five bullets" from every federal employee. They also touch on the potentially turning political tide and the GOP members of Congress getting ripped apart (figuratively) at town halls.

It's the lack of trust and empathy for me. Yeah, I mean, when people listen to hucksters instead of their own family? And after years and years of this, getting worse and worse, finally some of them are saying "oh shiiii" just as the ball of fire is about to consume our house. And NOW they want to garner sympathy? After decades of their "owning the libs" meanspirited behavior? I mean, idk, but I still don't trust this nest of vipers, even if they are threatened by even bigger monsters who they allowed themselves to think would be useful.

It's just ... It was SUCH a long election. We've been trying to warn them for SO LONG. Maybe they're new to this but we're just so tired and, with that, frustrated.

Still had to respond to the email, its not about making sure people are working.

2025-02-27 05:09:06 +0000 UTCWe so appreciate that you take pride in what you want to put out! I'll listen to you whether it's the weekly show or the podcast literally every time you post. The integrity you put into your show is why I find myself sharing your videos the most on social media or to friends. I would literally listen to you daily, but don't worry we'd never expect that. You're my gym meditation, where I watch with captions on large (paired with headphones not a total psycho) facing out at the passerbys where I set my phone with its kickstand from the top of each machine, hoping other people notice the Even More News/ Some More news titles and pics and become intrigued. Also super appreciate johnathan, always more Johnathan!

2025-02-26 23:59:00 +0000 UTCRespectfully flirting with the idea of loving even more news ;) ;) (sorry HR for the winking) on a serious note- when y'all are discussing that noones going to review or read those emails containing 5 things people got done- I agree. I just interviewed for a supervisory role that would include as many as 700 applications at a time to sift through and hire from as part of my responsibilities. It needs to be tended twice a week to keep on top of. Plus those are sifted by the computer before I lay eyes on it. Unless they are hiring people to fill that role, I too, don't see them getting through those emails successfully or at all. For the roll I'd be filling (cross fingers) I'd have a computer system that would weed out potentials from those less suited, then I'd have to review each resume left after that and send out automatic emails before contacting directly or penning a response directly. 2 days a week. to keep on top of it. Doge has no management skills and it pisses me off as someone who's been in it. Frankly, it's all very insulting. *goes back to listening to the episode, thanks for all you do, you are awesome *
